The Itallian paste tomatoes... the basic nesessity for any Italian family to make a years worth of Passata.
Now I don't grow nearly enough of these for that, and also, we don't eat a huge amount of pasta, we do grow Adiamo F1.
The tomato has the same properties as San Mariano and Roma, of which I have grown both, but with hybrid vigour and tends to be a little more resistant to powdery mildew from my observations. This is the 3rd season with this variety and not yet found a negative.
Great flavour, near seedless and prolific. This is a cooking tomato and does not make a great sandwich. Is great sliced on pizza with mozzarella and fresh basil.
