Corn Conundrum.

First I decided not to plant sweetcorn this season but planted a few of my prize seeds of strawberry popcorn for the grandkids.

Then I decided I really needed a taste of fresh sweet corn so bought some punnets and planted them out in a spare space in the garden.

After which I worried that the popcorn might "have relations" with the sweet corn which was planted several metres away.

Now I'm waiting (im)patiently for the sweetcorn to be ready to harvest to see if aforementioned relations did affect the cobs.

I also checked back on last years blogs and saw that I harvested the sweetcorn a little early, so don't want to make that mistake again.

Oh this "Corn Conundrum" is causing me some corncern, but I'm sure all will be revealed within the next few weeks.
