February Roses!

Gardener:Neil

Date:10 Feb 2024

The Chamelion rose has certainly done well all summer. The colour variation of the flowers is always changing and they look different again by the evening.

The tomatoes are producing, but not aswell as last year. Powdery mildew has been a battle, along with broadmites on the pepoers. A good harvest of some pepper varieties, but some have not set fruit at all due to the broadmites. Aji Charapita was one I was looking forward to has not flowered. I have 6 varieties that will grow in the grow cupboard over winter though, and this is one of them.

Thing are pretty dry at the moment too, but looking outside, there are lots dark clouds, and we have had the first little shower already, hopefully we will have some more overnight.

Happy gardening everyone!
