As we near the end of the month I thought I would note the flowers that were stand out in the garden. First was the freesias, with thee wonderful scent, both a delight for the eyes and nose and they filled a good few vases this month, but sadly will be coming to an end now.
The trusty faithfull strelitzia has had it's wonderfull bird of paradise flowers which are always appreciated.
The calendula has been here all month with it's wonderful day glow orange. The bumble bees have love these along with the broad beans.
The last to flower, and a favourite flower of mine is the poppy, and this year is white. The first bloom opened today.
