Growing Up

I'm talking about the plants not me. I don't think there's any chance of me growing up. 44 going on 14. I'll always be a kid at heart.

Anyway, talking about plants, I'm loving this vertical growing. The beans and cucumbers are loving it too. We had our first beans of the season last night and had family over. It was nice to hear them saying they were delicious and they were only steamed.  Nothing fancy.

The cucumbers are going strong and we will be harvesting these soon. Sadly the greenhouse ones succumbed to fungal disease but we still got a decent early harvest.

We have close to 10 pumkin forming with 8 on one plant. It's early days yet so I'm pretty excited about this potential harvest. They are loving the horse poo trench I planted them in.

That fuzzy little oval is an extreme close up of our first watermelon! Summer is coming fellow gardeners.
