A glorious afternoon

It has been some time since I did a blog but I swear I am still working at my garden! I do not have wifi and am not very good at keeping up with online activities, posting photos takes a long time. Often I have to try several times for it to work and who has time for that? Not me! I have not had time for my garden either for over a week due to school holiday activities and work but today I spent 6 glorious hours digging, mulching and planting. I planted out some seedlings that were ready for the garden. I got an old camping bed for my beans to grow over and plonked it in there. I direct sowed some carrots and radishes along with some peas, they are in a long bed and I'm going to practice my succession/market gardening with them as I have never put in the effort to do it well before. I did a couple of trays of micro greens for the kitchen window sill and sprinkled some sweet William, sun flowers and kale into any gaps just to see if they will take as the seed was pretty old. It was the best, most relaxing afternoon and the more time I spend in my garden, the more I want to stay there and not have to cook or do housework πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ I'm sure most of you probably feel the same! Tomorrow I need to pot up my cucumbers, tomatoes and zucchini, prepare their bed, and wish for some manure and organic matter to fall out of the sky as I used all my cardboard, shredded paper, grass clippings and rotted hay today. I think I'll sleep well tonight.

A glorious afternoon
