Bought these beauties from a roadside stall as i LOVE painting chillis and i thought i could freeze them to use later grated over my food for a bit of a kick, which is what i do with the cayennes i grow..
BUT ... well to test the heat i cautiously bit the end off of one and was disappointed. Just to be sure I then munched down the rest of it ( not the central seeds though... have saved those) . Its definitely a chilli not a capsicum but the burn, though there was barely noticable and left just a pleasent slight tingle on the lips afterwards. Still burns if you rub your eyes though lol.
Almost instantly my brain was thinking along the lines of Jalapino Poppers ... are they Jalapinos though? They seem too pointy. Somehow.
