I'm just inside from beating another rain shower, this weather sure is grim. I picked some silverbeet, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower to go with tonight's stir fry. Last week I had a glut of brocoli, this weeks is cauliflowers. I have 3 ready in the garden, which I'm keeping an eye on each day.
I've had a rearrange of seedlings this morning, moving the seedlings from the greenhouse into the shelf in my tunnel, making room for my more sensitive plants to go into the greenhouse.
During the day, even in this weather its lovely and warm in the greenhouse, in fact more cosier than our house! I will have to keep an eye on night temps though and possibly cover them if need be.
My house is all but seedling free, I just have a few beans, one cucumber and two courgettes on the heatpad that haven't popped up yet. Overall this season I've had pretty good germination rates.
Miss sixes fairy garden has grown grass, shes absolutely rapt about that! And the kids spinach from the 'My Little Gardens' are up too! Although very leggy, but nonetheless they are excited.
Oh, and one of my watermelons is up, and I have movement in another punnet. Happy days.
