There seems to be a wee but of a race going on with my seeds to see which ones will be first to be completely germinate. Initially, I thought it would be the cucumbers, but the different sunflowers are right at their heels. Not to be outdone, the corn is springing to life. And this year, the tomatoes are not going to be left behind at the post. We have a number of tomatoes coming through now. With my seeds only sown from last Monday, through to Friday, I am super surprised at how quickly they are germinating. The fact that we have had another glorious day up here has definitely helped with doil temperature.

While the seeds are doing their own things with very little supervision, I've been using my mornings to tidy up things outside. Yesterday was spent tidying up the front flower garden. This morning was spent tidying the  bromeliad /succulent bed. If I divide my gardens into 5 areas, each of these gardens only takes 20-30 mins to sort.  With things tidied up, next week I can start on some of the bigger jobs...shifting a pile of dirt that has been there since March when the drains were done. The lawn has simply been too wet to sort it.
