How appropriate that it is Easter - a celebration of the resurrection. I don't want to make light of a very serious religious holiday but my cucumber has also had somewhat of a resurrection!
Neil wrote recently of the scourge that is mildew and how it devastated some of his crops. Our tomatoes eventually succumbed to mildew ( although we still got a good crop). Our cucumber was going down the same track but I could see a couple of tiny fruit on the vine so left it to do it's thing. That was about 6 weeks ago. Since then it has produced new leaves, new fruit and we have been harvesting a couple of cucumbers each week.
Sarah mentioned that this is something that can happen. What blows me away is that parts of the vine look dried up with dried leaves but have produced new growth. Still I'm not complaining!
