It is finally a day where it is not raining although threatening to, the best garden weather not too hot and sunny and not soaking wet. Today I took back control of all the over grown grass and weeds in the not garden area. With the help of the weed eater it took a few hours and boy was I covered in all sorts by the end. With the horrible noisy bit done I mounded potatos and cleaned up a garden bed to try my luck at beetroot again (I struggle with them) and planted out some flowers and sticolli ( a broccolli Gai Lan cross not sure about this one). All while listening to the cacophony of young fledglings and there parents and the tuis who were abit perplexed I was gardening so close to the flax that's just comming into flower. I was also hoping to plant more seeds and tidy the roses but that shall have to wait as I'm out of gogo juice 😪. But I did look at the roses and although neglected are going to put on quite a display.🙂
