We have had the most glorious spring day up here. Currently, there is not a cloud in the sky. While I didn't have the energy to garden, I did get to meander barefoot across the lawn, picking produce and then stopping at the fence to talk to our neighbour's. I honestly don't know the last time I walked barefoot across the lawn without having mud squish between my toes. We even set the badminton net up, and my youngest was kicking a ball around.
Our berries and grapes are springing to life with an abundance of bumble bees and bees humming around happily. I only hope that when the plum.flowers, we have some beautiful days like this. Last year we only got a handful of plums as the blossoms were blown off in a storm.
Our seeds are also enjoying this newfound warmth, and we have many seeds starting to pop through. We even have beans, and a few tomatoes. I will admit that the newer seeds are doing much better than my older seeds at this point in time.
Now if this weather continues I am actually going to have to do something we haven't done since October last year, and possibly two or three times in March. Actually water the garden.
Photo is of two of two of our blue berries. We have 7 in total (possibly 8 as believe it or not, I may have found another seedling pop up).
