I'm actually dreading this because I know Neil is going to test me on my determinates and indeterminates and I have no idea which is which and what is what!
All I can say is that I have a s*#t load of tomatoes coming ready right now - more than we can possibly slice on toast, use in salads or give away to non-gardeners.
We went away for our long Wellington Anniversary weekend to visit the amazing Hamilton gardens. We stayed near Cambridge at a stunning B & B and had the most wonderful time. The gardens are brilliant and I can't believe they are free to visit... an absolute treasure.
We came home after just 2 days to a garden burgeoning with produce - beans, corn, cucumber, gherkins and tomatoes (no blight for us yet Sarah thank goodness). We had watered well before we left so two days of heat and sunshine had not caused too much harm.
I did go out as soon as we got home to pick the ripening tomatoes (for Neil - Big Beef and Patio) and this is the resulting bowl....
