Our daughter Haven loves cucumbers as much as I do. She will eat a Lebanese cucumber daily in her lunch box and last season she smashed back over 150 of the ones we grew.

In the greenhouse we are growing 2 F1 hybrids that don't need pollinating to set fruit. Perfect for the greenhouse.  They did really well last year and loving it this year too.

The first fruit are now forming on this lot and round two is germinating now. Haven wanted telegraph and apple cucumbers as well this year!

They are still pricy in the shops so I'm looking forward to being able to fill her lunch box from the garden.

We also have 8 gherkins growing? Has anyone grown these before and if so, are 8 plants enough to get a reasonable amount to pickle? I'm hoping to do our own gherkins this year.
