Tall, graceful Ivory Princess produces large, ruffled flowers brushed with delightful buttercream hues. Buds and central petals are pale lemon yellow, with outer petals gradually fading to snowy white. The long stems look wonderful in a vase and are especially lovely as wedding flowers. Blooms are very attractive to pollinators.
Sow direct where they are to grow or into trays of Yates® Black Magic® Seed Raising Mix. Firm down, water gently and keep moist through germination period. Transplant or thin out when 5-7cm high.
Choose an open, sunny position that is well drained. Mix Yates® Thrive® Natural Blood & Bone into soil before planting. Water regularly and apply Yates® Thrive® Flower & Fruit Soluble Fertiliser for stronger plants. Protect from snails and slugs.
Remove spent blooms to prolong flowering. Flowers are ideal as an edible garnish, and for adding colour to salads.
Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
