A versatile herb that adds a delicate garlic flavour to dishes. Also known as Gow Choy or Chinese Leek, they are used extensively in Asian cuisine. Garlic Chives can be used like regular chives, snipped into salads and dressings, soups, and as garnish. Also a subtle and delicious match with fish, chicken, eggs and savoury sauces.

How
Sow direct where they are to grow. Cover lightly with Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix, firm down and keep moist.
Care
Grow in Sun or semi-shade. Enrich soil with Yates Thrive Natural Blood & Bone before planting. Feed plants regularly with Yates Thrive Vegie & Herb Liquid Plant Food. Continuous harvest promotes new growth. Protect plants from snails and slugs.
Hint
Great companion plant for fruit trees and roses. Also a good companion to carrots and is said to keep away various carrot insect pests. When using in cooking, add at the last minute to retain flavour.

Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
