I have my father in law coming to stay, he's had surgery on this elbow. So this morning I've been busy making him some meals to take home when he's well enough.
I wanted to get them made before I pick him up, as he's the type of man he doesn't like a fuss made over and he would of kindly told me 'I'll be right, you don't need to do that'. So now he has no choice but to take them!
I made a pumpkin and vegetable soup, and a lasagna (apologies that it looks a bit sloppy, I would normally leave it to cool before putting it in the containers, but I needed it to cool before popping in the freezer before I pick him up!)
Its so nice to be able to cook meals for others using produce out of your garden. I had silverbeet, spinach, onions, yams, garlic, parsnips and carrots to use out of my garden
