Loving spending some one on one sunshine time with my wee guy , yesterday we decided that an unused corner of the vege garden was a good spot for a nook with a seat .
So we have made a start on friendship corner , after moving the compost and doubling its size , there was plenty of great soil so in to pots it went , I had some violas struggling so planted them , the silver towers will dry out faster so succulents have gone in them .
Arctotis in the pots that are holding the "seat" I will need to create a back so no one falls though the tunnel house plastic .
Over time we will add color , some solar lights , a waterproof storage solution for pens paper and books .
With everyone suffering from the black dog at their door at one time or another , I want the kids who are here to be able to sit somewhere and be able to let people know if they want space , are wanting to talk or simply want you to sit and say nothing , so some cute wee signs that will be interchangeable will be the finishing touch .
And the compost bin its self was easy to tack up some wire so I planted some telegraph cucumbers and Yates cherry Dotts , with the idea we can snack there to , I want to create a snap pea screen to but not to sure how I will acheive that yet , but this women with a drill and a dream will find a way .
I know I know your thinking really did I need another project , quite possibly not but this one has a special place in my heart .
