For the last few years we have invited our Grandparents to join us for afternoon tea.
Earlier this year we had to postpone this exciting and anticipated event due to Covid19, looking at the positive the garden was looking great and there were lots of interesting happenings to show and talk to our grandparents about.
There were conversations about the scariest things in the garden, the Brussel sprouts, the rainbow silver beet and delight in telling everyone what was growing.
We were even able to give away lots of garden treats, tomato seedlings, silver beet, parsley, worm pee and still more seeds.
The afternoon was well supported. It was a pleasure to see everyone new faces and some well know ones. The best part is watching the children show and talking to their grandparents about all the things we have been doing over the past few months.
