So after adding more soil for my tomato pots, I put in stakes to try and deter the cats from getting into the pots. I thought I had done a great job, but as I was taking some rubbish out I discovered my cat had somehow got inside my stake fence and was fast asleep.
I have decided to leave it at the moment but once I plant my tomatoes in a couple of weeks time I will make sure they are better protected, as I think I will be not as forgiving if he were to sleep on them.
As it was cold and windy outside today I didn't do much in the garden apart from sowing some seeds in my pots. Three of my pots with trellis in them I have sowed mixed climbing beans (a mixture of yellow, green and purple beans). In my other pot with a trellis I have sowed a mixture of dwarf sunflowers (smiley F1 hybrid and fun in the sun mix).
As I was doing this Jazz decided he wanted a pat and attention, and once he got this he promptly went back to his new space in my tomatoe pot. I give up haha.
