As we are nearing the end of the challenge I thought I'd have a look back through my blogs again. I particularly wanted to to see the progress of our new vegetable garden as it seems like so long ago!
The bottom photo was taken on the 26th of September, I had planted a few seedlings and had mulched around those. And the top photo was taken this morning, you'd hardly know looking at the weather now - it's blowing and trying to rain! And featuring Chase the dog destroying a ball.
I am so stoked with what I've managed to accomplish in it, and comparing the two photos had made me even more pleased.
As the gardens so big it's super hard take a photo of what I have growing in it sorry, but I will give you a run down!
I have planted corn, dwarf beans, spinach, lettuce, spring onions, tomatoes, zucchini, potatoes, some strawberries (which I will move in winter as I'm not happy where they've been put), peas, silverbeet, asparagus, brassicas (too many, will down size how many to plant in spring next season), carrots, beetroot, a few parsnips (which didnt germinate very well), and some marigolds and nasturtiums popping up. I think that is all!
As well as that garden I have two reasonable sized raised beds (I've never measured lol), plus a smaller one, and the tunnel, and greenhouse (that has limited growing it in, but some) plus a pumpkin patch and yam bed I will update you all on in the next two weeks.
