I don't know about you but I believe every gardener has their nemesis plant. That plant that just never does well no matter what you do.

For me it's passionfruit.  Everytime I try to grow one it goes gangbusters for the first season. Is great over winter. Bursts into life in spring then it curls up and dies. I never get 2 seasons.

I spray with copper. Plant in a free draining soil. Don't over or underwater. It just doesn't like me.

The annoying thing is that I drove past our last house and the ones I planted before we left are now 3 years old and spilling over the fence.

Anyway, some good news. Our bug motel is now occupied and the Monach butterfly caterpillars are doing great.
