I had planned to have my seeds sown by now, but the atrocious weather we have changed my mind. Strong wind, very cold weather and lots of rain did not seem conducive to success. Having said that, we really need the rain. Both last year and this year our rainfall is several hundred millimetres below the average, so technically we are in a drought.
Last week I cut down the metal frame of a large table, and a local engineer welded the pieces back together. Today I attached the plywood to the frame. I still have a bit of plywood to remove, but at least I can start using it. It will be big enough to hold 3 seed trays. Hopefully I can get my cooler weather seeds sown by the end of the weekend.
