Sweet Peas and Honey Bees!

Well it has been about 10 days since my surgery and with the stitches now out of my hand I am slowly on the road to recovery but very impatient.  Sadly, I cannot use my hand as much as I would like so I have been handing out gardening orders to my family at home almost everyday on how to weed, feed and water (poor things I know they can’t wait for me to be back at it).  They have done a good job though!

I thought I would update you on where my sweet peas are at now.  I apologise that the photos are not particularly good but it is a heck of a thing trying to take photos one handed when it’s a windy day 😉 (not to mention typing with one hand).

My sweet peas are now up and over our two-metre-high fence; a great wall of them with wildflowers below.  The fragrance and colourful show are such a pleasure, and I am chuffed every time I hear the bees coming to visit this spot to fill their little tummy with nectar and pockets full of pollen.

Oh well, I will pass the time enviously scouring the community page here and everyone else’s delightful photos and updates.

Happy Growing!
