Not strickly vege garden related , but I do feel its a helpful wee tip so here goes .
If you ever need to divide a plant , here its a peace lily as both my kids requested a bit :) and it was pot bound so I gave it a good soak added some seasol , pried it out of its pot , chose where I wanted to make my divisions , grabbed hubbies knife , Its the sharpest made sure it was very clean and chopped 4 clean divisions , it seems a bit harsh but the plant recovers fast .
This can be done with Daylilies , rhubarb , agapanthus etc .
