I thought in these last few days of the challenge I would show you all my growing spaces, as I don't think I have shared them all with you this year! Hubby is delighted I haven't asked (yet), for him to make me any new beds after last year getting him to make me two new spaces. I am very lucky he goes with most of my ideas in the garden, besides taking over the land putting all in gardens!
The first bed has my strawberries. This got moved last year when we put the new tunnel house up. As I've mentioned before, I have no idea what ages the plants are, as they are mixed. So I have made a plan in my head to start again next year. They aren't doing too well, and I think some would be fairly old which might be half the problem.
The bed behind that has brassicas and peas. I'm growing kale for the first time ever, so I'm excited about that. I've had a few battles with pests eating this bed, and have had to replace a few plants along the way, but they are all doing okay now.
In the paddock to the left of the picture, behind the wooden make shift pen is where the pumpkins and corn are. We can plug the hose into the entrance of the tunnel house to water it which is good, but also a hassle. Next year that needs to be moved closer too.
