Well it was my 43rd birthday on the 26th and what I quite like about birthdays in this modern era is all the free stuff that is offered via email. Had my free burger fuel burger on my birthday and got an email from Palmers offering me a free pair of gloves.
I now know the Palmers one was a trap. While there were no strings attached, it goes without saying that one cannot enter a garden centre and leave without buying something. Applying much restraint I did manage to leave with only one fruit tree. I've been looking for a second orange tree for some time but struggled to find them anywhere up here in Whangarei.
