This blog was inspired by one from Stacey a few days ago.
I spent this afternoon indoors staring outdoors wishing the weather was better so that I could get out and do "stuff".
In saying that I know some of our friends further south (Ev, Stacey, Danseyland, Flower Lady, TR Gardening, Dillons included) are doing it way worse than me, but I'm still a little grumpy about this polar blast. I hope you and your gardens are riding the icy storm okay.
Stacey posted a wonderful photo in her comments of her seedlings indoors looking out a window at the weather. They looked warm and cosy and happy and loved.
I'm hoping that is how my little Corn Soldiers are feeling. I took this photo this afternoon when it looked summery outside but the wind was blowing a gale and we were between downpours. It was 10 degrees outside believe it or not!
These are the very same corn that I accidentally double planted two different varieties of in a couple of seed pots. Looks like they've forgiven my indiscretion but we'll wait and see what happens when it is finally warm enough to plant them outside.
