This morning Miss 5 and I ran some errands in town (Master 7 is on holiday at his grandparents). Miss M had a birthday voucher to spend, and birthday money to put in the bank, and of course it would be rude not to end our outting with a trip to mitre10.
My chillies and capsicums are not growing well, they are still so small and I'll be lucky if they are a decent size by summer 2023 at this rate, so I bit the bullet and bought some seedlings. I also bought a Meyer lemon tree, this will be 'take' 6 or 7 attempts but I'm determined to keep one alive!
A lime and orange tree also jumped into my trolley at The Warehouse, I'm not sure how well an orange tree would grow down here but I thought why not give it a go!
We came home and cleaned a whole heap of pots that a lovely customer gave me, I have no idea where they are going to live as I have heeeeaps of pots, but will cross that bridge tomorrow.
And we finished the day shopping in the garden for dinner.
