Well Spring is just around the corner and it's time to start thinking about getting the garden started again.
Last year we blogged under McLittin's garden but we have moved out of the "commune" and into our forever home. We were extremely lucky to have awesome friends who shared their property and garden with us and are extremely blessed with our new home.
The past few months have been about settling into the home and being thankful we were no longer in the tiny cabin. Haven't done a lot of active gardening as such, rather trimming trees, getting the lawn repaired and trying to stay on top of the weeds.
This weekend, Rochelle (my beloved wife), Haven (our super cool 8 year old) and I started putting our greenhouse together. As with all projects I start, it is taking much longer than I thought it would. For the past 5 years I've had greenhouse envy while blogging as we have never had a property suitable for one. Now we have heaps of room and the coolest thing is that this was a freebie. My Dad got this several years ago with the intention of putting it up but it never made it out of the box.
Just need to get it finished so we can start planting for the season ahead. I think the thing I most looking foward to is having a place where I can garden in the rain.
