While the caravan is out of the way getting a repair job done, I thought I would tackle another job before work this morning. Some people go to the gym, or for a run. I've tried that. I much prefer the garden.

Normally, our main herb gardens are hidden by the caravan, and they often get neglected, unless I consciously remind myself - which is usually when I need something from them. Whilst they are away from the main part of our garden, they are conveniently placed so that when our lawn is boggy, we can still get to them with ease without adorning our gumboots.

Like the new mint planter box, I decided this year to intermix the herbs with some flowers that I was relocating from another area. So after trimming back the rosemary, splitting the chives, and the marjoram, and mixing in some compost, I added some pansies and sweet williams. The only downside is, that once the caravan returns, we dont' get to enjoy them as much. The neighbour's will though.

I don't spend a huge amount of time on morning tasks, possibly only 15-20 minutes. Just enough time to tackle a small task. Over the course of a week, those 15-20 minutes sure do add up.

This is the front of our section. We have two mandarins here in between the two herb gardens. Unfortunately, they don't get as much sunshine as they use to due to the caravan, but they still do okay. Behind where the camellia is, is where I have my roses and my dahlias (and a playhouse), and another seating area. Down the side fenceline, is a berry frame, then two new grapes grown by cuttings shared with me by our camping neighbour (she actually brought them back from a day trip home especially for me. I was so touched by her generosity).  This eventually meets up with our berry main frame, and our three vege gardens from yesterday. We then get to the fruit trees, and then the back gardens. The blueberries then wrap around the other side fence.  Basically our gardens follow the fence line around the outside of the property, and the bbq area, giving a huge area for the kids to play. Hopefully, that makes some sense to those trying to work out how we fit everything in.
