Hello Gardeners!
As Sarah has headed away for a lovely well deserved break, I’m stepping in for this weeks blog post with a few announcements!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend and stayed dry in all that rain. This weather is so unpredictable at the moment and not sure about you guys but I am seriously over all the wetness, bring on some sunshine!! We are well into Spring now… as proven by this weather! I can’t believe we are already hitting November tomorrow!
Anyways, I have a couple of announcements to make on Sarah’s behalf this week!
Firstly, this weeks’ lucky winner of the free seeds is…. trgardeningnz! Congratulations I will get some seeds sent out to you!
Secondly, it is time for another ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD.
Again we have given a lot of thought to this one as it is designed to give someone a bit of a pick me up and encouragement..
Gardens can be a bit overwhelming from time to time, especially when life outside the garden takes priority, and others seem to be making great progress. These days a garden is so much more than a hobby, it can even help with the grocery bills - so that can add another layer of pressure when getting the garden ready. And on top of that this relentless rain can steal what free time is available for the garden.
Sarah has noticed a few of you are probably feeling your garden is a bit of a hard slog right now. We want to support and encourage you all, and a reminder that it isn’t a race.
