Inter planting?!

Some days you are just too busy getting on with things that you forget to take note of where you're planting your seeds. I had completely forgotten that I had seeded out some rocket in the gap in my bed and then proceeded a few days later to transplant my red cabbage in the same spot. Not a complete failure as I'll be harvesting the rocket long before the cabbage is ready. Nice reminder to keep logging all my plants and where I've put them. Planted out more lettuce, broccoli, spring onions and green cabbage. We have some very large trees close to the beds and found some tree roots have started growing through the bed, not bad enough to create a problem that I'd have to dramatically fix it, they popped out with little force needed but will need to keep an eye on it. Funnily enough it was the bed that seemed to produce a better crop than the rest so wondering if the roots are feeding the plants with what they need or taking away something that they don't like. Planted out more tomatoes and basil in the tunnel house. Still struggling with my summer crop seedlings such as zucchini and peppers, they just don't want to grow but I do have a couple of each now but not as many as I would have liked so I'll keep seeding them up until I have enough plants. Might be a good thing as they will be a successive planting without meaning to be 🤣 more weeding tomorrow and hopefully 🤞 make my new beds.
