This year has been a pretty big year for us with moving into our new home and starting our gardens from scratch yet again. This has been our 3rd move in about 3 years and this is the 3rd attempt at getting our gardens right. I have not enjoyed having to start over each time but practice makes perfect (so they say).

I feel our family have finally found a place where we are all happy and if I'm honest, I never thought we would ever own a new built house or have a lifestyle property. God willing this will be our forever home.

The Spring challenge is coming to an end yet again and I've had a look back at how far we have come. At the beginning of the season we only had a bank. We now have four established raised beds, a greenhouse and a soon to be wild flower garden.

There is still a long way to go in regards to establishing a home orchard but for now we are enjoying fresh veges straight from the garden and have got ourselves into a rythm of planting to ensure we get a continuous crop.

When I walk around the garden now, I do feel anxious or stressed by the work. To put it simply, I just feel happy. I hope this is tge same feeling you get when you step out into your garden.
