Kumara and a Bucket of Beans.

It's been a busy weekend, we had a group of old friends over yesterday prior to watching the legends that are the Black Ferns.

There wasn't much time for the garden yesterday, although we did tie up the Sweet Peas and Broad Beans after the battering they got from the wind the day before.

Today was rainy on and off but I managed to get outside and pick a bucket full of broad beans, a bowl full of strawberries and get my Eureka Gherkins planted out into the vege garden.

I also finished off dividing up our kumara cuttings which I am hoping to get planted within the next two weekends. I'm so excited about planting my own cuttings and have to thank Northland Backyard Gardener (I'm sure that's who it was, apologies if not) for giving me the courage to give it a go.

The bucket full of broad beans is in the garage awaiting my attention when I get home from work tomorrow afternoon - destined for the freezer I think.
