I topped up the bed that I took the broad beans out of and trenching with food scraps first , I planted 7 money maker toms some basil and I have plenty of low growing wildflower seeds so I popped some along the front and between the tomatoes, I am hoping it will be a nice ground cover and keep the weeds down .
4 courgettes went among my other perennials and I used the same tree protection frames that I used on the giant pumpkin it seems to be working very well to keep the chickens off .
I used hoops and netting an the rest .
