I am sure everyone here has little corners of their garden that surprise and delight when you least expect it.
I had one of those today. I tottered out to the herb garden in a light drizzle (with my slippery jandals on) to get some rosemary for our roast lamb dinner and turned around to see these gorgeous girls looking up at me singing "How pretty are we? Please admire us." I duly tottered back inside, got my phone and took this photo.
They all posed superbly. These little dianthus came from a single plant I bought around three years ago and have divided each year. Such talent, such prettiness, such a lovely sight on a Sunday afternoon. Well done girls, you've got your moment of fame xx.
