Well the rain is back today in Taranaki so it's an inside day today, well I thought it would be lol. Did my rounds and noticed the birds have been helping themselves to the house garden vegetables so quickly put up some bird netting to protect them. Thought I'd show you the before and after pic of the area I'm using for the market garden. Started with a blank slate, tarp was in place 6 months prior to kill off the grass. Each bed is 15 metres by 9.5 meters (9 rows in each bed). Have made a start on the second bed (picture in the front) the last couple of days, lots of rocks, wire and burnt wood in there. There are 2 x 25000 litre tanks collecting from the shed roof for watering the gardens. It is definitely a big job for one person to set it up but hopefully I'll only have to do it the once 😅if I can keep up with maintenance.
