We woke up to a dusting of snow this morning, lucky everything is tucked up safe and sound and the toms , cucumbers and capsicum planted in the tunnel house are absolutely fine .

I have spent the morning in the tunnel house a bit of weeding but my main focus was on the 2 small raised beds that are well and truely incapable of growing anything at this stage , so because I like a challenge the plan is to make one for the butterflies and the other for strawberries.

I started by watering and turning over 5 times then made 3 trenches and added a bucket of food waste  , I remember my grandmother doing this when I was a kid she always had amazing veges , so a few more days of watering and layering with some grass clippings and a top layer of our home made worm full compost and I will plant them up .

I took out the self seeded Sean plants and have them soaking in a bucket of water and seaweed feed , there are a few aphids that need to go so this is the easiest option and spray free because the lady bugs are back I have found so many nymphs they will be wonderful wee helpers .

And I have decided not to sell vege seedlings anymore , I just can't do it all so with an abundance of pots I am going to reinstate my rd side stall for free pots plant trays etc , possibly produce in the future to .
