It started like any other day. James got dressed, had breakfast and enjoyed his morning coffee completely unaware that tradgedy was about to strike. It was really just like any other day. The sun was shining, birdsong filled the air and the leaves of the macadamia nut tree danced in the morning breeze.
As James made his way towards the greenhouse to do his morning check, something seemed off. James couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he just sensed something was not quite right. As he saw the greenhouse, the feeling of dread increased and his pace fastened. Stopping when he reached the door, James braced himself for the worst and slowly slid the door to one side.
It was then that he saw it. Falling to his knees on the cold stone pavers, his screams broke the morning calm and echoed through the valley below. Carnage lay before him. A trail of destruction, corpses of the fallen laid spread out across the bare soil. The trail of the killer shining in the sun - the calling card of a serial killer. One he was familiar with and one he had battled in years gone past.
OK so maybe that was a little bit of an exaggeration. Turns out that a snail got into out glasshouse and found it's way to some of the seedlings. I think I found it. Will need to go back out tonight with a torch and lay some Blitzem under the racks to stop them making it up.
