The weather hasn't been great this weekend, we've even had to put the heat pump on, and I'm writing this snuggled up to a hot water bottle!

I have been feeling much better and had heaps of produce ready, so opened up our wee shed at out the end of the drive today. So I thought I'd share some of the produce that went out today. I was able to put out; broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, spring onions, radishes, bags of lettuce leaf mixes, spinach, a few lebanese cucumbers, silverbeet and beetroot.

This is the 3rd season I've had the shed going and I still get a buzz everytime the security camera pings. We've had a lot of thefts before, all have been the indoor plants I propagate and put out there. So we got the security camera's to try and deter the light fingers, and its worked - it hasn't happened again thankfully. It wouldn't have worried me so much if it was the veges been taken, I could sleep at night thinking they were feeding a hungry family. But it was unfortunately just greed.

I have people who have bought from the shed since the beginning, and I can almost tell you what cars will park up first after my post goes on Facebook to let everyone know what's available and that the sheds open. I had a dear chap and his wife come up the drive a few weeks ago asking if I was open that day, unfortunately I wasn't, but he had heard of us by from word of mouth. That makes me proud.

I anticipate I will be even busier this year with the prices at the supermarket too, I'm not sure my wee garden will cope with the demand - I would love to turn our whole 5 acres into a market garden and just sell from the shed, but hubby isn't really fond of that idea... but I'll keep working on him!

I feel so fortunate to be able to make a bit of extra money to contribute to my family, while being able to be there for my kids when they need me, as I know a lot of people don't have that privilege. All while doing something I love. How lucky am I?!
