Eariler in the competition I blogged about a mystery pea Haven picked up off the floor at Bunnings. Well it has finally revealed itself and I do believe it may be a snow pea which Haven will enjoy immensly. This one little seed has probably had more love and attention than any other plant this year!
The other thing I blogged about was the chocolate cosmos seeds that cost me $5 for 5. At first only one germinated so I was a little disappointed but slowly over a period of about 5 weeks they all came up. One at a time. So we ended up with 5 for 5 which is a pretty good strike rate and puts the plants at $1 each. I'm super excited about these as they take me right back to my childhood.
If only I could get our strawberries to fruit again. We could have chocolate and strawberries (not that you that can eat the flowers but at least we would have the smell of both).
