The last couple of weeks the kaiako (teachers) and tamariki (children)of Tuakau's Little Stars Early Childhood Centre have been hard at work getting rid of our old worn-down garden beds and creating new fresh ones to begin planting for spring! Due to Covid and other factors we haven't properly had our gardens growing for about 2 years now and we are very excited to get back into growing food for our whānau (families). We also have new kaiako taking on the role of creating and maintaining the garden so this will be a new and fun journey.
