I was wrong when I said we had spread all our compost , there was one more that was ready enough in the flower field , this one was litterally just weeds and some pony poo , perhaps a couple of spent pots , it really does amaze me how that can become soil , I covered this one with some frost cloth the idea was to keep weeds down and still let moisture in , moisture tick but the whole pile was covered in weeds which is why I didn't think it was anywhere near ready .
the plan was to turn it but instead I spread on a couple of rows that are a few weeks off planting yet so I will have time to hoe any weeds off .
and the other mostly weeds compost at the other end got a good stir up and the out side dug onto the to and then a good soaking , it will get covered next weekend .
In the vege garden I potted on some tomatoes and gave everything a good watering 😊
