I don’t quite know how that happened as things still very spring like indeed.  Normally by now we are feeling all summery with a bit of festiveness sneaking in, but this year the cold and wet weather is making things feel a little miserable.    It feels closer to the start of the challenge than it does the end…

But to this point the Challenge has been going 88 days.   There have been over 500 blog posts and looking back over it all, we have come a long way.  If you haven’t been back to your first blog post recently, then I encourage you to go and have a look!  There is nothing like a before photo to boost your confidence.

I am just getting back into the swing of things and trying to reestablish old tried and trusted routines around all the catching up.   Reading your blogs every day is a good way to start the day.  I do hope you will continue to post updates in the community once the challenge is over because I always wonder how you are getting on once life settles down again after the festive season.  I wonder about your harvests and were the things you struggled with overcome.

Amie would have taken care of the weekly free seeds while I was away, but we are a couple of weeks behind while I got back on my feet so this week, we have free seeds for Tannz and Neil.  Congratulations – I will get those seeds off to you as soon as I can.

The bit that comes next is really hard for the Yates team.   Winners will need to be chosen and from what I can tell this will not be easy as you have all been such delightful and enthusiastic contributors to this fabulous community.    But for now, carry on being your wonderful selves and sharing the garden love.

Happy gardening and as always – if you want to get in touch leave a comment below.

Photo:  the garden has surprised me with a red tomato.  I wasn't expecting this so soon - especially with the weather we have been having!
