So hubby has been reading about worm castings and the huge benefits when adding to vege when it's fruiting , so it seems right to reinstate the worm farm , I have made made mistakes in the past by accidentally drowning them so this time we have a bigger tilt for draining and have used a plant pot siliconed over the plug with lots of holes drilled in to prevent any blockages .
We put cardboard on the bottom then cow and horse manure water then hay food scraps and then we introduced the worms .
I feel a much bigger duty than ever before for a successful worm farm , wish me luck lots of research has gone in to this .
