With rain on the forecast today I did manage to make a start on potting up the huge amount of hellerbours 120 done so far around 800 to go .
I also decided the cucumbers , gherkins , tomatoes , and courgettes to pots as their roots were coming though the peat pots and I'm not yet ready to put them in the ground .
sadly I discovered dispite snail bait I lost 2 cucumbers and 3 tomatoes so that's pretty disappointing, but lucky it's so early I will plant again , but back to torch light snail hunting and I shall put more bait down , they will not win .
