What fun! Last night when it started snowing, we spent a bit of time out on our street building a rather ugly snowman, helping push a car that got stuck and generally having fun (and snowball fights). My cat, Ronald, never seen the snow before so he was having a bit of fun too, running around trying to figure out what was going on!
Not too worried about the garden as I don’t really have anything tender planted out yet. At a guess carrots and lettuces (which I’ve sown two weeks ago) may take a while to come up, if at all. However, parsnips will be loving this stratification. I’ve heard of people planting parsnips before a cold snap on purpose. So fingers crossed!
