It's that time of year where there is so much to do and sometimes it feels a little overwhelming.

Having only moved into our home the day before Winter we really are starting from scratch and trying to establish our gardens. I had planned to get all the beds done before Spring but things often don't go according to plans. In fact, I'm still building the beds.

The plan was to get the beds sorted this weekend but then I got sidetracked as we wanted the pool up. Being on tank water we really need to fill it while it's still raining so our tanks can refill again. Luckily we have great neighbors with a tractor who were happy to help clear a pad.

So we are now almost a month into spring and our garden beds are only 50% done. It's ok. With daylight savings here I can put in a few hours a night and in the next couple of weeks we should be sorted, just in time for the big plant out.
