I had thought i would have the weekend off haha! But had to share this as I know i posted about my poor Brusseld Sprouts when I planted the yams and how the snails had been having a sneaky midnight buffet due to my 'collar' idea ...
Well, was over at the landlords garden today having a guided tour as for the next few weeks I shall be looking after his gardens also, AND to my great delight spotted the 3 Brussels Sprouts plants I had given him to play with, looking VERY healthy indeed and laden with sprouts needing to be harvested! So my gift has given back a bounty!
It also doesn't matter that my beans failed up by the studio as his Purple Kings are laden with beans needing to be picked so I shall enjoy them over the next few weeks too. Maybe it is just a matter of having the right variety for your growing conditions...
